About the Editors

Norma Elia Cantú is a professor of rhetoric and writing at the University of Texas at El Paso. She is the author of the award-winning book The Poetics of Migration: TransbFree Downloading Chicana/o Literature.

María DeGuzmán is a professor of English and director of the Center for Mexican American Studies at the University of Texas at Austin. She is the author of the book Speaking of Gangs: A Rhetorical Approach to Youth Violence.

Rosalind G. Gill is a professor of social and cultural analysis at City, University of London. She is the author of the book Gender and the Media.

Patricia Sánchez Abril is a professor of communication at the University of Texas at El Paso. She is the author of the book The Rhetoric of Respectability: Race, Gender, and the Politics of Identity in the United States.
